Opening of School Liturgy 2016
On Wednesday, September 14th, Marian students, faculty, and families joined together in the auditorium for an opening of school mass. Father Matt Williams from the Archdiocese of Boston joined us in leading the mass in a very unique way. Utilizing the stage in his homily, Father Matt was able to connect with the students through his anecdotes and analogies. Despite it being unseasonably warm in the auditorium, Father Matt was still able to captivate our attention. He took a story about clams and connected it to our relationships with God. The message he wanted to provide us was that God’s mercy has no limits. Overall, it was a memorable first mass of the school year that kicked off the year in a positive way.
