Art 1 - C and GH Blocks Homework

Due: Thursday, February 2

Homework due Thursday:

BRING IN THREE (3) CLEAR PICTURE REFERENCES OF THREE DIFFERENT ANIMALS OR INSECTS.  This is for the Pen & Ink project so think about different textures- fur, feathers, skin, scales, wings, etc.

You will be required to use some form of hatching or cross-hatching, stippling, and scumbling.

Collect ten (10) references to use for your Surrealism Hand Fantasy project.
These references should relate to the dream, nightmare, and fantasy paragraphs that are in your sketchbook.
 
This is for a HOMEWORK GRADE.  We will begin our project in the next class.

Drawing and Painting - B and F Blocks

Due: Friday, February 3


Due on Friday:

BRING IN A PORTRAIT OF A PERSON.  This portrait should be clear and detailed.  It can be of a celebrity, friend, relative, or anyone. 

THIS IS FOR A HOMEWORK GRADE and our complementary color project.

Those who do not bring in their homework assignment will have their picture taken for the assignment and will recieve a zero on the homework.

Studio Art - A Block

Due: Monday, February 6


In your sketchbook:

Finish up the details of your shadow box.  In class we will work on the 2D parts of the project. 

Over the weekend, gather materials that you would like to include in your box.  I will find as much as I can on the lists that you gave me.  We will make these boxes come together!

AP Studio Art - AG4H4

Due: Friday, September 23

For November 4th:
You will need to hand in three new projects, finished.  These can be focused on your concentration or the breadth section.

IN YOUR SKETCHBOOK:
 
Please create 5 detailed thumbnails of project ideas for either your "Breadth" section or "Concentration" section. (Due Friday)
-Add to your references EVERY NIGHT in your sketchbook.
-List more project ideas and sketch your thoughts EVERY NIGHT in your sketchbook.
-Go online and research other student portfolios on the AP College Board website.
 
You should be dedicating 2 HOURS to your artwork EVERY NIGHT.

Yearbook - E135 Blocks

Due: Friday, February 3

Finish your powerpoints.

For this project you need to include the following:

-A page of Catholic Schools Week pictures (10)

-A page of (5)Junior and (10)Senior candids

-A page of 10 other pictures of school activities, sports, and academics.

-DO NOT USE FACEBOOK PICTURES.  THEY ARE LOW QUALITY AND YOU  NEED WRITTEN PERMISSION.

Continue to collect pictures of school sports, events, students, faculty & staff, and symbols.
